Abstract

Objective: This study was aimed to investigate the obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) in patients with enuresis the relationship between polysomnographic parameters.
Methods: A total of 67 OSAS patients included. Data taken knowledge were recorded standard form that all patients with night polysomnographic recordings parameters and the presence of enuresis.
Results: The mean age of patients was 45.0 ± 11.7 years. 54% of the patients were male and 46% female. The mean apnea-hypopnea index of the patients was 13.07 events/h. Frequency of enuresis was found 19%, nocturia frequency was found to be 55%. Arousal index, periodic leg movement index and oxygen desaturation index were found different (p<0.05) between enuresis group and non- enuresis group.
Conclusion: In our study was found to be associated the frequency of nocturia and enuresis severity of oxygen desaturation in OSAS patients.
